Italy's National Institute of Design and Mint Chooses JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform

Red Hat (NYSE: RHT), the worlds leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that the National Institute of Design and Mint in Italy (Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, IPZS) has selected the JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform to develop and implement software services in a SOA environment. With JBoss solutions, IPZS has significantly increased the productivity and reliability of its systems and has gained important business and economic advantages.

IPZS is a joint-stock company with Italys Ministry of Economy and Finance as sole shareholder and is responsible for printing and dissemination of the Italian Official Gazette, government publications, security and anti-counterfeiting systems, fine art publishing and ID documents, including traditional and electronic ID cards, passports and smart cards.
