Sanford offers $500M investments to Fairview in merger; South Dakota would keep headquarters

The proposed merger between Fairview Health Services and Sanford Health would send the headquarters of the combined company out of Minnesota to South Dakota, according to newly released materials. But Fairview's Minnesota operations would stand to get as much as $500 million in promised investments after the deal.
