Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Sep 16, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The New Day Interfaith Fellowship of Churches and Ministries will celebrate its 2022 Holy Convocation in Philadelphia. This gathering of ministries consisting of vast congregations will occur September 21-24, 2022 at Greater Saint Matthew Baptist Church at 1538 Wingohocking Street, Philadelphia, PA. 19140.

"New Day Interfaith Fellowship is excited for our annual spiritual gathering, known as our Holy Convocation. We made the decision to host the 2022 convocation in Philadelphia specifically as a result of our ongoing care and concern for both the region and the City of Philadelphia," said Rev Dr. Steven Avinger, Sr., Host Pastor, and Assistant Presiding Bishop. "Our theme this year is "Anchored in Hope." The last couple of years has brought uncertainty to the world, and there is an opportunity for those who are saved to anchor themselves in hope. We also recognize a clear opportunity to speak truth to power and place action alongside of it. From matters of public safety and education to economic empowerment and development, we are focused on action anchored in hope. We also recognize that while the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet safely behind us, we must continue the work of the Lord. We are determined to do just that,".

The powerful week will include various services and workshops to highlight some of the Alliance's most prominent teachers, preachers, singers, and talent. Highlighted activities include our Thursday Celebration of Hope and Life service with presentations from Rev. G Lamar Stewart. Seniors will be honored on Friday afternoon with featured speaker Bishop Albert N. Jarman Sr. Friday night service will feature Pastor Eddie Spencer, Inglewood, NJ. The convocation concludes on Saturday afternoon with Bishop Albert N. Jarman, II, Presiding Prelate.
