Minnesota Legislature strikes deal on pandemic pay, rolls back unemployment tax on business

Unemployment taxes on business that were automatically hiked earlier this year will be reversed after Minnesota legislators agreed to a deal that will refill the state's employment fund and deliver bonus checks to workers who kept the economy running during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
