Miami, FL – October 19, 2021 – The highly anticipated film adaptation of the award-winning MobKing, created by Ciro Dapagio, will be filming this week at several key locations in Miami, FL. Dapagio, along with an ensemble cast power-packed with gangster movie greats, will reprise his role as Mike White, navigating his way through the seedy underworld of Miami’s most notorious criminal organizations.
The MobKing promises to grip fans with its star-studded cast featuring Robert LaSardo (Burn Notice, Nip/Tuck, CSI: Miami), James Russo (Donnie Brasco, Django Unchained), Oksana Lada (The Sopranos), Artie Pasquale (The Sopranos, The Brooklyn Banker), Paul Borghese (The Irishman, Back In The Day), Stelio Savante (The Sopranos, Law & Order, Ugly Betty), Antoni Corone (We Own the Night, Bad Boys II), Elisabetta Fantone (Big Eyes, Paper Empire), Bruce Soscia (The Families Fued) and the debut of Anthony Caliendo, the film’s other Executive Producer. Also on deck is Emmy and award-winning muscle in editing and directing, Jorge “Jokes” Yanes (The Roof, Gabriel: Amor Immortal, Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, The MobKing Series) as the film’s Director. The MobKing is independently filmed by Ciro Dapagio Films.
Following the success of The MobKing, Dapagio has turned The MobKing brand into an international phenomenon, garnering millions of fans and followers across several social media platforms. The project has been picked up by Wanda Halcyon Television, Global Television Operations and Un Nouveau Du Jour for worldwide distribution as a television series, scheduled to air in 2022.
