European regulator sees ‘no urgent need’ for COVID-19 boosters, calls for greater emphasis on getting unvaccinated to get shots

The European Medicines Agency said Thursday there is no "urgent need" for COVID-19 booster shots for fully vaccinated people and suggested instead the emphasis should remain on primary vaccination and getting shots into the arms of the one out of three adults in the European Union who are still not inoculated.
