Maricopa County health care workers ask for school mask mandate as Covid pediatric cases rise

More than 1,000 physicians, health care workers and public health professionals in Maricopa County on Wednesday urged the county Board of Supervisors to enact a universal mask mandate for K-12 schools as the number of kids hospitalized for Covid-19 continues to rise at an “alarming” rate.
