Avidity Science expands RFID capabilities with acquisition

Avidity Science, a Waterford-based company specializing in lab equipment and water purification systems for scientific research and health care facilities, said Tuesday that it has expanded its radio frequency identification offerings with the acquisition of UMG Inc. of Golden, Colorado.
