Dr. Welling grew up in Bountiful and was a patient of Bailey Orthodontics. Through his years of hard work and dedication in his studies to become a board-certified Orthodontist, he has maintained a relationship with Dr. Bailey and is very familiar with the procedures and processes at Bailey Orthodontics. Many patients may have met him at appointments throughout the years. The clinic feels very fortunate to have found just the right orthodontist to join the team. Dr. Bailey and his team are confident that Dr. Welling possesses the highest qualifications and is extremely well skilled in all phases of orthodontics. Dr. Andrew Welling was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. Following a two-year LDS mission in Canada, he pursued his degree at BYU and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. After graduation, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. There he received awards for clinical excellence, leadership, and character. Succeeding dental school, he completed his orthodontic training at the University of Iowa, where he received his orthodontic certificate and Master's degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Welling's passions for improving patient's orthodontic experience and achieving results have led him to pursue additional training in the areas of clear aligner treatment, smile aesthetics, and digital orthodontics.
Dr. Welling now lives in Bountiful with his wife Katie and three children. He is thrilled to be home under the Wasatch Mountains, serving the community that helped raise him. He believes everyone should love their smiles, and he wants patients to feel confident to smile often.
