LOS ANGELES - June 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Dr. Melina Jampolis' new book, touted by nutrition specialists and foodies alike, will be available in paperback and Kindle on Thursday, June 3, 2021 on Amazon.

"With the recent release of Dietary Guidelines for Americans, consumers are advised to use herbs and spices to flavor foods when reducing added sugars, saturated fat, and  sodium to improve their health. Spice Up, Live Long will give readers a wealth of practical information."
- Penny M. Kris-Etherton, PhD, RD, FAHA, FNLA, FASN, CLS Professor of Nutritional Sciences

"There is no better way to spice up your life than with... SPICES! My friend Dr. Melina has written THE book on why and how to use herbs & spices not only for great taste but also to improve our health."
-Lisa Lillien, Creator of Hungry Girl

"Dr. Melina Jampolis is 275 years old, but you would never know to look at her. Thank God for spices!"

-Kelly Ripa, TV Personality, Host Live with Kelly & Ryan

While no herb or spice is a cure or "magic pill," almost all are rich in antioxidants and have natural anti-inflammatory properties that can potentially reduce one's risk of many common diseases of aging. Coupled with the diet recommended in the book, adding more spice to your life and plate can improve overall health.

Dr. Melina shares, "I'm so excited about this book because everyone can benefit from adding spices to their diet, from age 2 to 102! I'm more convinced than ever about the potential healing and preventive powers of herbs and spices, and I truly believe adding them to your diet can help you age more gracefully."

This book breaks down the research in easy-to-understand terms. Discover:

  • Food, spices, and their links to longevity
  • Spices around the world and where people live the longest
  • Age accelerators & what to avoid
  • Spices and the conditions/diseases of aging
  • How to use spices every day
  • 80+ spice-rich recipes by Chef Aaron Robbins - Executive Chef, Soho House, West Hollywood
Whether you're an avid cook or someone who hates to cook, Spice Up, Live Long will help you include more spices in your everyday diet.
