Santa Clara, California May 26, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - DivaDiversity, a nonprofit company dedicated to incorporating human diversity issues into counseling, education, and work, is pleased to announce that 6 new members are joining its board of directors. With their diverse backgrounds in high-tech, education and community, the new board members will add to the unique perspectives and experiences that will further expand the impact of DivaDiversity's mental health and wellness services.

The new board members include:

  • Krishna Suresh, Board Secretary
  • Mark Voll, Board Treasurer
  • Angela Salerno, Board Director of Marketing, Branding, Communications (PR), Social Media
  • Dominique Samuels, Board Director of Outreach Programs
  • Rhonda Dixson, Board Director of Risk Management, Process Improvements
  • Min Kuang, Board Advisor for Clinical Counseling Programs

"Our board members are the stewards of our assets and responsibility to the communities we serve," said Arlene Ticoulet, Chair, Executive Director and Founder. "DivaDiversity is on a growth journey and we have so much to celebrate because of this wonderful community we serve. As this year marks our 5 year birthday, we're excited to reflect on our accomplishments. From implementing our holistic Aloha Model of Inclusion, to rounding out exciting advancements in our education and counseling services. There is so much opportunity to make our voices in diversity, inclusion, and mental health services even louder. Our beautiful community deserves that and more."

The Aloha Inclusion Model adapts the Spirit of Aloha, which is the ancient wisdom of acknowledging our own body and soul through love and affection. This "human diversity of therapy" serves as a modern transformation into inclusion -- it is not spoken; it is experienced.

"Inclusion is who we are," says Ticoulet. "It's a part of how we treat our clients, how we relate to others, and how we create relationships with our families, schools, businesses and everyone in the community that we encounter."
