‘Greenest ice in the NHL’ — Amazon names venue for Seattle’s new hockey franchise the Climate Pledge Arena

Amazon.com Inc., the delivery giant regularly under fire for its impact on the environment, has purchased naming rights for Seattle’s KeyArena, forgoing a corporate moniker to call the venue Climate Pledge Arena. It’s been a busy week on climate policy for the retailer that has prospered under COVID-19 lockdowns.
