By: PRLog
Imagine a collection of stylish wallets and tablet cases made to enhance your lifestyle AND benefit the environment.
PRLog - Sep. 23, 2014 - BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- What if denim wallets could help save the world? Salvedge Denim, a new Kickstarter project ($20,000 as the goal) (http://kck.st/1o0mnix) aims to be the first startup to do just that.

The goal is to create quality denim wallets and tablet cases for the urban adventurer that make use of denim’s durability while utilizing eco-friendly cotton and including a recycling program that give the “edge” back to global sustainability.

The initial collection consists of a fold wallet, zip wallet, and an iPad case. The products are full of functional features that enhance usability with thoughtful designs and unparalleled craftsmanship.

The Highlights of this Collection Include:

-Beautiful Craftsmanship:
Handmade in New York City

-Eco-Friendly: Made of 100% Organic Denim + Recycled Cotton + Recycled Plastic Bottles

-Sustainable: Included with each purchase is a free recycling program. When a Salvedge Denim product reaches the end of its lifecycle, customers can send back the product through a free shipping label. The products are then recycled responsibly, thereby reducing landfill strain.

-Fact: Every year, 13 million tons of fabric waste are dumped into landfills in America. Dyes leaked from fabric pollute ground water. Fabric that take hundreds of years to decompose (from a lack of a oxygen in landfills) spread harmful carbon emissions, adding to the problem of global warming.

Product Details:

Features include a stash-and-dash pocket for added convenience and coated areas engineered to resist abrasion from wear and tear. It is made of 12 oz. raw denim, sourced sustainably from mills that meet the strictest global standards of eco-friendly fabric production. The products are manufactured by one of the oldest and most respectable factories still operating in New York’s garment district, a testament to their dedication to high standards.

The Founder:

David Chan is a fashion industry veteran of 10 years, having designed for fashion houses such as Calvin Klein and Donna Karan New York. He thinks his Kickstarter project can prove that small startups have a role in making our world a better place.

The Kickstarter project is live until October 16, 2014 (11:00AM EST)  http://kck.st/1o0mnix
