New Fantasy Series From Essex Author Explores Boundaries Of Good And Evil

By: PRLog
PR Log - Oct 16, 2012 - The Corin Chronicles Volume 1: The Light and the Dark (Corinthians Publishing, 2012), tells the story of a war, five thousand years ago, between Auphora, the Creator of all things, and his son Baran. Their conflict spans—and almost destroys—the galaxy. Their epic battles cost millions of lives, but peace comes with its own repercussions. As time moves toward the present day, gods and demi-gods plot to rule again. One planet stops turning, leaving its people trapped in eternal light, while another develops to the modern day, unaware that someone walks its streets carrying a secret that could bring an end to it all.

The Light and the Dark is the first of an anticipated five-volume series. “I didn’t set out to write a mythic series,” says Amazon. “The Corin Chronicles started as a short story. But my continued exploration into possibilities and back stories resulted in a tale that grew exponentially through space and time.”

Amazon’s novels, which appeal to fans of fantasy and speculative fiction, tackle the moral questions of how we define good and evil, and why perception plays a key part in the answer. With no true protagonist or antagonist, The Corin Chronicles examines how war can ripple out to change the lives of everyday people, shifting their very understanding of right and wrong.

The author is available for interviews, book club appearances, speaking engagements, and/or guest articles on the subjects of fiction, writing, fantasy, and entertainment.

Corinthians Publishing is a small, independent press launched in 2012 and distributed to retailers via the Ingram Book Company.
