United States Patent and Trademark Office Issues Jambb Notice of Allowance for a Patent for Its Unified Engagement Platform

The patent will increase Jambb’s ability to remove barriers to using blockchain technologies and continue to provide novel ways for artists and brands to engage supporters, grow brand loyalty, and generate new revenue streams.

(PRUnderground) August 3rd, 2022

Jambb, a digital comedy collectibles platform founded in 2020 with a mission to transform the way novel entertainment content is consumed, distributed, and monetized, today announced that the USPTO has issued the company a Notice of Allowance for a new patent, application No. 16/879,685, which would increase Jambb’s already impressive stable of existing intellectual property-focused assets. This patent is expected to provide Jambb with U.S. market exclusivity until 2042.

“I am delighted that the U.S. Patent Office has recognized our unique proprietary technology and issued Jambb this notice of allowance,” said Alex DiNunzio, CEO of Jambb. “This is a huge milestone for Jambb, as the patent will strengthen our differentiation against current players and protect us from future competitors.”

Jambb provides the tools for artists and brands to bridge the divide between real life and Web3 experiences for their best fans/customers. Leveraging blockchain/NFT technology, Jambb enables artists and brands to activate their loyal communities through never-before-seen touchpoints, creating meaningful access and engagement (e.g. exclusive content and up-close meet-and-greets with entertainers). Jambb enables artists and brands to move beyond one-time experiences and reach broader audiences in more lucrative ways, while empowering fans to own cultural moments with actual and varied utility.

In July 2021, Jambb filmed Non Fungible Jokin’™, the first comedy special ever produced and sold on the blockchain, featuring Maria Bamford (Lady Dynamite), Pete Holmes (Crashing), Zainab Johnson (Upload), Beth Stelling (Girl Daddy), and more. Jambb has since dropped NFTs featuring Hannibal Buress (Spider-Man), as well as Tom Segura and Christina P. (Your Mom’s House), and recently filmed two Comedy Church specials, featuring Jessica Kirson, Gary Vider, and Gianmarco Soresi.
