-- CapsWork, a global provider of remote verification services, today announced the official launch of its local recruitment platform in Zimbabwe, alongside the opening of its new regional operations headquarters in Harare. These dual initiatives aim to strengthen the country’s digital employment infrastructure and inject new technology-driven momentum into Zimbabwe’s job market.
Since its inception, CapsWork has been committed to connecting global client needs with digital labor resources through its technology platform. The newly launched recruitment platform represents a key pillar in CapsWork’s broader strategy to foster a digital employment ecosystem across Africa. The platform offers a wide range of features—including job browsing, remote application, employer job postings, and automated talent matching—designed to deliver an efficient and transparent recruitment experience for both job seekers and employers.
In addition to focusing on remote human-machine verification roles, the platform also supports a broader array of local service and technology-based positions, open to users with basic skills and a willingness to learn. According to CapsWork, the goal is to broaden employment opportunities for local residents and especially to increase youth participation in the digital economy.
Concurrently, CapsWork has completed construction and initiated trial operations of its regional operations headquarters in Harare, which will serve as the company’s hub for Southern Africa. This physical office will handle critical functions such as policy implementation, talent training, project coordination, and customer support. Staffed by local employees and management, the hub is expected to significantly improve response times and service quality in the regional market.
“Zimbabwe holds tremendous potential in the digital employment space. We’re committed to bridging technology with real-world job opportunities to support long-term, sustainable workforce development,” said Brett J. R. Salt, Co-founder and CEO of CapsWork, at the press conference. “Through the simultaneous investment in our local platform and regional headquarters, we aim to build a more resilient and stable employment ecosystem.”
Over the past six months, CapsWork has already established a preliminary online workforce in Zimbabwe through its Vericode remote verification task system. Thousands of registered users have completed remote tasks with high accuracy and completion rates, earning positive feedback from international clients.
The launch of the physical headquarters also signals CapsWork’s commitment to evolving from part-time task assignments to structured long-term career development pathways. Future plans include the rollout of a talent certification program, in-person upskilling courses, and SME partnership initiatives, all designed to enrich users’ career trajectories and strengthen the overall employment market.
CapsWork emphasized that Zimbabwe’s youth talent is a strategic priority for the company. Looking ahead, it plans to deepen collaboration with educational institutions, community organizations, and local enterprises to expand access to digital skills training and support the healthy growth of the regional digital economy.
The recruitment platform is currently in open beta, with additional feature modules scheduled for release in the coming months. CapsWork affirmed that it will closely monitor local user feedback and continuously refine the platform experience to deepen the integration of technology and employment.
