The Blonde Brewer is not only entertaining audiences online with their funny skits, but also running a successful brewery, the Running Dogs Brewery, that they are currently expanding. The comedy couple, Maggie & Jaron Clayton, have amassed a huge following on TikTok, with millions of people following them across their social media platforms.
Despite appearing as such opposing concepts, The Blonde Brewer has managed to make comedy and running a brewery work for them. The couple explains that their social media presence has helped them learn, grow and explore new ideas for their brewery. The couple gained popularity on TikTok for their funny skits where Jaron Clayton roasts Maggie Clayton to the music “Gangsta’s Paradise” and walks away with his iconic eyebrow raise and she throws something at him with her pinpoint arm. The viral factor of their skit led them to meet and film with the artist who wrote and recorded the song, Coolio. “We now have a documentary filmmaker currently filming us and our story.” In addition to the documentary showcasing their life, Jaron and Maggie continue to entertain their growing audience on TikTok, Instagram, and even YouTube.
Running Dogs Brewery began as a hobby for the couple, something they could do together. Jaron Clayton, a self-taught homebrewer, took up brewing shortly after returning from his deployment in Iraq with the United States Army. Jaron’s creativity led him to craft and experiment with various recipes until he found something new and unique. Jaron also taught Maggie this craft, and slowly they began establishing their brewery, which has since grown into a recognized brand. The couple brews and writes new recipes together. “You will find unique brews such as a Shroomy ChanterAle (brewed with chanterelle mushrooms) and a Black and Blue Kolsch (brewed with blackberries and blueberries) on tap; in their brewpub.”
Maggie & Jaron are on a mission to continue growing the Running Dogs Brewery’s beer and community. The brewpub is a perfect spot for people to experience new and unique beer while enjoying the incredible landscapes or engaging in trivia, board games, bingo nights, live music, and more. “The brewpub is located in St. Helens, Oregon. The city square where scenes from the movie Twilight and Disney’s Halloweentown were filmed is within walking distance.”
The couple explains that they named their brewery after their two dogs, Gianno, the Italian Greyhound and Winchester, the Hungarian Vizsla, whose legacies lives on through the brewery. Seeing as they were both very active running dogs, Maggie & Jaron named the brewery, Running Dogs Brewery. Most people online recognize the brewery as The Blonde Brewer due to the couple’s identity across platforms.
In addition to their online presence and running their brewery, Maggie & Jaron Clayton also create and sell merchandise to their fans.
