Eagan campus now located in Eagandale Corporate Center
Rasmussen University, a private university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission1, today announced the opening of its brand-new Eagan, Minn., campus. The Rasmussen University Eagan campus is now located at 1305 Corporate Center Drive—just three miles from its former location. Classes begin Oct. 4.
The new 31,000-square-foot campus includes large, high-tech classrooms in addition to a state-of-the-art Simulation Center, virtual reality classrooms and upgraded labs for Nursing and Health Sciences programs. The campus also features expanded office space, modern lounge and study spaces, and a beautiful outdoor common area for students and staff to enjoy.
“We are thrilled to open our new Eagan campus and welcome students to this amazing space to learn and grow,” said Erica O’Gorman, campus director, Rasmussen University—Eagan. “We believe the new campus location is a great opportunity to deliver the best student experience possible and elevate community partnerships in a strong community. While the campus is not currently open to the public due to COVID-19, we look forward to inviting our community partners to both see and use our enhanced campus space when it is safe to do so.”
Rasmussen’s Long History in Eagan
In 1989, Rasmussen University relocated its original St. Paul campus to the former Eagan campus location on Federal Drive. At that time, Eagan was, as it remains, one of the fastest-growing communities in the Twin Cities metro. The University has served students in Minnesota for more than 120 years. The Eagan campus is one of eight Rasmussen campuses in the state.
The area around the Eagandale Corporate Center has also seen tremendous growth over the past decade, including new business development and road construction. Students and staff now have access to restaurants, shopping and even a local park within walking distance. The location is convenient for commuting as it is located right off Interstate 494 and Interstate 35E.
