Item 2.02   Results of Operations and Financial Condition

 

This Amendment No. 1 on Form 8-K/A to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Hecla Mining Company (the “Company”) on February 21, 2008, is correcting formatting errors in the financial tables of the earnings release for the financial results of the Company’s Fourth Quarter 2007 and twelve months ended December 31, 2007. This correction does not otherwise affect the reported results in the narrative of the earnings release originally issued February 21, 2008. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
