Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 2, 2015, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved ORKAMBITM (lumacaftor in combination with ivacaftor) in patients with cystic fibrosis twelve years of age and older who have two copies (homozygous) of the F508del mutation in their cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator, or CFTR, gene.
We have established a wholesale acquisition cost for ORKAMBI in the United States of $259,000 on an annual basis.
