Effective September 29, 2007, La-Z-Boy Incorporated ("La-Z-Boy") completed the stock sale of its Clayton Marcus subsidiary to Rowe Fine Furniture, Incorporated. In connection with the sale of Clayton Marcus, La-Z-Boy will record a pre-tax charge of about $5.5 million, of which about $3.4 million is related to the intangible assets of Clayton Marcus. The loss will be included in "income (loss) from discontinued operations (net of tax)" on La-Z-Boy's Consolidated Statement of Operations for the second quarter of fiscal 2008.
