(b) On June 2, 2005, George M. Gentile, a director of Gerber Scientific, Inc., informed the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee of Gerber Scientific's Board of Directors that he has determined that he will not accept a nomination, and will not stand, for re-election to the Board of Directors at the 2005 annual meeting of stockholders of Gerber Scientific.
