In connection with a presentation scheduled to be made by David Johnson, executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (the "Company"), at the Bank of America 37th Annual Investment Conference on September 17, 2007 at approximately 6 p.m. (EDT) at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, the Company posted to the investor relations page of its Web site, at www.thehartford.com/ir, on the morning of September 17, 2007, the slide presentation materials for Mr. Johnson’s presentation. The slide presentation materials include highlights of the Company’s strategic outlook and plans, along with updates about the Company’s third quarter performance.
