Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 25, 2007, The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (“Nasdaq”) and OMX AB (“OMX”) issued a press release announcing that they have entered into an agreement to combine the two companies through a cash and stock tender offer by Nasdaq for all outstanding shares of OMX. A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
