Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 17, 2006, Community Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (as attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, the “Press Release”) announcing that, as of January 11, 2006, the Company had completed the sale of Heritage Valley Farm on the terms described in the Press Release.
Pursuant to General Instruction F to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Form 8-K, the Press Release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1, and the information contained in the Press Release is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by this reference.
