Item 8.01 Other Events

On May 24, 2005, the Company issued a press release announcing that Tejon Ranch Co. and the Trust for Public Land unveiled the Tejon Ranch Preserve, a 100,000-acre preserve on the Company’s lands. The Preserve was mapped after nearly two years of study to identify the best location for the Preserve.
