Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On June 5, 2007, Whitestone REIT issued a press release announcing that the shareholders of Whitestone REIT had overwhelmingly voted to re-elect Chris Minton as an independent trustee at its 2007 Annual Meeting.

A total of 6,132,275 shares were voted in person, or by proxy, representing approximately 61% of all outstanding shares. Of those shares voted, 4,891,018 shares, or approximately 80% of the total shares voted, were in favor of the re-election of Mr. Minton.

A copy of that press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
