Hawaii's Love's Bakery to shut down after nearly 170 years

The company issued a statement to the media and filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN, Act notice with the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations saying it would lay off 231 employees and close six locations across the state.
