Kansas Board of Education rejects governor's school reopening delay

In a March executive order, Gov. Laura Kelly made Kansas the first state to close schools due to the coronavirus pandemic. This time, the Kansas Board of Education rejected the governor's executive order that would have kept schools from opening until after Labor Day.
