Gov. Cooper gives NC public companies option of holding virtual shareholder meetings

State law normally requires that companies incorporated in North Carolina have live annual meetings that can be attended by shareholders. Sid Shenoy of Womble Bond Dickisnson says Cooper has made an exception for the coronavirus emergency.
