Ex-employee targeted by Tesla says he's a protected whistleblower

The way Martin Tripp tells it, he’s a whistleblower — so alarmed by Tesla’s faulty manufacturing processes that he had no choice but to document those issues and hand them over to a reporter at Business Insider. Tesla says Tripp was a disgruntled employee out to deliberately hurt the company.
