Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: AVXL) signed a material transfer agreement for Biogen Inc. (Nasdaq: BIIB) to test Anavex's ANAVEX 2-73 in an oligodendrocyte precursor cell differentiation assay. Shares of Anavex Life Sciences climbed 99 cents to close at $4.13 while Biogen stock tumbled $3.98 to close at $310.55.
