The World’s Premiere Hemp Health Product for Animals Announces a “New” Name

MISSION, British Columbia - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- WFS Pharmagreen Inc. located in Mission, British Columbia, is pleased to announce that it is changing the brand name of the world’s leading hemp based pet health product line from “CannaVet” to “Canna Companion”. Robert W. Stewart, President, Director and co-founder of the Company that includes co-founder and world renowned cannabis culture icon Tommy Chong of Cheech and Chong fame reports: “The Company had originally selected the brand name of “CannaVet” to reflect the decade plus period of significant research, development and testing in clinical settings by the formulas creators, Dr. Sarah Brandon and Dr. Greg Copas.” The veterinarian team of Brandon and Copas are widely considered the world leaders in the examination and application of hemp based formulations as a means of supporting animal health. They are also Pharmagreen senior executives and Directors of the Company’s Animal Products Division. They initially launched their formulations under the Canna Companion brand prior to joining forces with Pharmagreen, who owns the exclusive rights to the present product line and all future formulations for the US markets. The current product line-up comes in capsules and flavored chews in feline and canine versions and according to Stewart there are several cutting edge products in the R&D pipeline that include applications for all animals and in particular for horses.

“As we prepare for national distribution into the US pet products marketplace, we realized that there could be some confusion in the marketplace with the CannaVet name being associated with the non-profit philanthropic organization named “Canna-Vet” (https://www.facebook.com/cannavet?fref=ts). Canna-Vet provides support and education with respect to the use of cannabis based products as a way of assisting in the treatment of armed forces veterans suffering from PTSD. We have therefore chosen to replace the brand name with the name first associated with Drs. Brandon and Copas great body of work and the formulations.”
