THE MAN FROM TUSKEGEE

The son of an enterprising itinerant worker originally from Jamaica, Bob Dale Jr. is a child of the American dream- the son of a proud African American man who managed to find a place in the country despite segregationist policies and rampant racism.

When America is pulled into the second world war, Bob, like many of his compatriots, feels honor-bound to answer his homeland’s call. However, after gaining the hard-won right to fly for his country as a Tuskegee airman, Bob Dale is shot down behind enemy lines somewhere in Italy after multiple clashes with the Luftwaffe.

Helped through his injuries by a French nun named Sister Michelle, and the earnest Pauli, airman Bob Dale is pulled into the conflict on the ground. Protecting the Jewish orphans in the care of Sister Michelle, Bob transforms into more than just a soldier- he becomes a figure of hope for the children, a prayer made manifest. Teaming up with a host of interesting characters, including a particularly alluring and formidable resistance fighter named Giselle, the Man from Tuskegee braves the trials of his times.

In his thrilling page-turner, William Deiz spins a masterful and hard-hitting plot about a man fighting first for his country, and secondly for all that is good and worth protecting. Surrounded from all sides by hostility and adversity, Bob Dale is a figure reminiscent of all the people of color who fought bravely for the country when it needed them the most, going up against the odds both at home and on foreign soil.

In such uncertain times there is only one certainty for the airman from Tuskegee: there are things worth protecting, and there are things worth fighting for.

And he does just that.

The Man From Tuskegee: A Bob Dale Thriller is avilable on Amazon as an E-Book.
