She will establish and lead the consultancy’s global practice to assist companies in talent acquisition and employee branding. Previously, Kessler held the role of Global Talent Marketing and Employee Brand Leader for Adobe.

The practice will emphasize technical professionals in which demand far outstrips supply.

“We’re not only talking about tech companies and startups,” explained Lou Hoffman, CEO of The Hoffman Agency. “Consider the non-tech companies that now depend on technology and the supporting personnel to differentiate their offering. Their challenge in attracting technical talent is even greater because technical innovation is not typically baked into the brand.”

Even as the economy cools, demand for technical talent — IT managers, software programmers, data scientists, hardware engineers, etc. — will continue to outstrip supply for years to come. A Korn Ferry study forecasts that by 2030 the shortage for technical professionals on a global basis will reach 4.3 million.

The firm’s talent acquisition service offering will range from creating employee propositions to digital marketing campaigns anchored by microsites to activating employees as brand ambassadors.

The practice builds on an existing foundation of talent acquisition campaigns for clients ranging from ASML to the City of Fremont.

"It's an exciting time to be in this space as there will always be fierce demand for exceptional talent irrespective of macro-economic climates," said Natalie Kessler, EVP of The Hoffman Agency's Global Talent Marketing Practice. "Companies that win the war for great talent are those who are able to differentiate themselves as an employer of choice with unique attributes that authentically represent the culture of their organizations."

Named global tech agency of the year by PRovoke Media last year, the firm grew over 30% hitting the $20M mark in 2021 and forecasts similar growth for 2022.

“We are expanding our service offering based on client pain points. That’s how we’ll drive growth over the long haul,” said Hoffman.
