Guardian Pharmacy Services, one of the nation’s largest long-term care (LTC) pharmacy companies, and Mullaney’s, a locally-owned member of the Guardian family based in Cincinnati, are pleased to announce the acquisition of Hutcheson Homecare Pharmacy. The newly acquired pharmacy will operate as Hutcheson, A Guardian Pharmacy. Together, Mullaney’s and Hutcheson serve residents in assisted living and skilled nursing; individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; inpatient and outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation facilities; as well as provide at-home patient care. Currently serving southern Ohio and northern Kentucky, this acquisition expands Mullaney’s reach across the entire state of Ohio and eastern West Virginia.
This strategic expansion comes as Mullaney’s celebrates 85 years in business supporting the Greater Cincinnati community through LTC, retail, compounding, medical equipment and supply operations. The agreement doubles Mullaney’s resident customer base and increases its pharmacy staff by more than 50 percent. All current employees will remain on staff including Dominic Bartone, who will continue to serve as director of operations for Hutcheson.
