Dr. Espinoza earned his medical degree at the Saba University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University Hospitals, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He went on to complete advanced interventional cardiology fellowship training at Drexel University College of Medicine.
He has worked with world-renowned research institutes including Duke Clinical, Harvard Clinical, and the National Institutes of Health, contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine. He has also published numerous scientific publications and contributed to the book Strategic Approaches in Coronary Intervention.
