OTHER EVENTS.

 

On Tuesday, February 3, 2009, First Busey Corporation issued a press release announcing that it received preliminary approval from the U.S. Department of Treasury to participate in the Capital Purchase Program under the Troubled Asset Relief Program through the issuance of up to $100 million of senior preferred stock and warrants to acquire shares of common stock.
