Item 8.01 Other Events.

On February 6, 2008, Horne International, Inc. (the "Company") determined it will cease the operations of its subsidiary, Coast Engine & Equipment Company ("CEECO"). The Company has made this determination based on the continued unprofitability of the unit, a negative financial forecast for CEECO, and to better enable the Company to focus on its other businesses. The Company expects CEECO's operations to be fully terminated within 45 days, with an initial estimated cost of $200,000, all of which will be incurred in the Company's first quarter of 2008.
