On July 8, 2010, OPTi Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the determination of the ex-dividend date by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). On July 6, 2010, the Company announced that its Board of Directors had declared a cash dividend of $0.75 per share on each share of the Company’s common stock. The dividend will be payable on August 12, 2010, and the Company had set the record date for the dividend as July 29, 2010. The ex-dividend date established by FINRA is July 27, 2010. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
