Item 5.02.  Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On January 20, 2011, Molson Coors Brewing Company (the “Company”) appointed William G. Waters, the Company’s current Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, as the Company’s Chief Corporate Strategy Officer.

 

Mr. Waters’ appointment will become effective once a suitable successor as controller and chief accounting officer has been identified.  Mr. Waters will continue to serve as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer until a successor is appointed.  During this time, Mr. Waters will continue to be responsible for the preparation of the Company’s financial statements included in its public filings, including the Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 25, 2010.
